Incyte Diagnostics and Blue Mountain Pathology Announce Acquisition

Spokane, WA and Pendleton, OR--
Incyte Diagnostics based in Spokane, Bellevue, Walla Walla and Yakima, WA and Blue Mountain Pathology based in Pendleton, OR have entered into a letter of intent to combine their two pathology practices. This transaction will create a regional pathology practice where physicians and hospitals can access 47 board certified pathologists with expertise in 27 disciplines/subspecialties.
Blue Mountain Pathology currently provides on-site anatomic and clinical pathology services to St Anthony Hospital in Pendleton, OR, Good Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston, OR, Grande Ronde Hospital in LaGrande, OR, and Sunnyside Community Hospital in Sunnyside, WA; and services other hospital locations and physicians’ offices throughout eastern Oregon, central and eastern Washington, and southern Idaho. Blue Mountain Pathology has been providing pathology services to clients for over thirty five years. Incyte Diagnostics has been providing pathology services to clients for over sixty years. Blue Mountain’s five board certified pathologists will join Incyte Diagnostics’ group of forty two board certified pathologists in a common mission to provide cost effective pathology services and expertise to hospitals and healthcare providers in a rapidly changing market.
